We are an information group offering support to families during the perinatal period (pregnancy - about 2 years).
We are a non-profit organization supported by more than 200 members offering services throughout the Magdalen Islands, Quebec, since September 13, 1993.

Support families in learning their new parent-child role by: 

• creating a breastfeeding-friendly culture in the hospital, at home, at work and in society; 

• representing new families with various local bodies; 

• celebrating World Breastfeeding Week annually; 

• informing future parents and new families about newborn feeding and their new parenting roles through training and the distribution of documentation; 

• supporting new families in initiating, continuing and ending breastfeeding;

• recruiting, training and coordinating breastfeeding peer mentors.
